Make up primer helps to even out the application of your foundation. The best way to use primer is...first wash your face, then use a light daily moisturizer. Apply the primer, but do not apply it heavily, then apply your foundation/base. From there apply the remainder of your make up...blush, eye shadow, etc...
I have used primer for about a year now, and I can tell that my make up looks smoother, and it stays on better and longer than before. BUT I also noticed if I apply my primer without moisturizing first, it doesn't go on as well. Primer might help smooth the lines out a little, but it will not remove them completely.What does makeup primer do? Does it help hide wrinkles around the eyes?
i think it preps the skin for the makeup, like paint primer does for paint. i don't know if it will hide wrinkles around the eyes or not.
Eye primer keeps your eyeshadow from creasing, from your natural oils in your eyelids. It also helps keep it look fresh all day.
