Chap-stick on eyes to keep makeup on?!?!?!?

Ok so I recently saw a video of a girl putting chap-stick on her eyes before applying eye shadow to help it stay on longer. Then she smeared it under her eye to help keep the liner on the bottom. Have any of you done this? I don't want to just go smearing something oily on there for no reason! But my liner NEVER stays put on the bottom and it drives me nuts!Chap-stick on eyes to keep makeup on?!?!?!?
I've never used chap-stick. I do have a recommendation though:

All you need is:

Thin eyeliner brush

Any color eyeshadow

Little bit of water

Run the sink for a moment turn it off and dip your brush in the residual water left behind around the drain (you don't want your brush soaked just moist) then dip the brush in the eyeshadow and line your eyes as you see fit, let dry and you have stay put eyeliner!

You can do this for your eyeshadow too just use a bigger brush and let it dry(dries within seconds) when its done take a dry brush and soften the edges for a more natural look. It works great make sure you do your shadow before your eyeliner though you don't want to have to reapply the liner!

I know that any makeup store sales packs of makeup brushes so you should be able to find some easily!

Hope this helped!Chap-stick on eyes to keep makeup on?!?!?!?
Chap-stick is greasy and that actually makes your makeup crease and smudge.

If you don't mind splurging, I highly recommend a good eye makeup primer such as the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. You can purchase this at Sephora for $16. It makes your eyeshadow stay on and prevents it from creasing into the folds of your eyelids for HOURS. It also makes your eyeshadow appear more vibrant than just applying it to your bare lids.

If you don't plan to spend that much on a primer, you can also try using foundation on your eyelids, and then apply eyeshadow. It doesn't last as long as a primer but it helps. At the end of the day though, you may end up with the colour of your foundation and your eyeshadow colour mixed together in the folds of your eyelid.
i've never heard of that. But i dont suggest you do that. Buy URBAN DECAY PRIMER POTION this stuff works and its worth. i think its about $16 @ sephora. or TOO FACED INSURANCE. you can also use MAC paintpot. but the best for me is urban decay. it makes you eyeshadow last longer. apply that and wait for about 2 minutes and the apply your eyeshadow. hope this helps! goodluck!
The best thing is eyeshadow primer
I wouldnt suggest putting chap stick.

Try eye shadow instead. That'll keep it on.
no

that starts to burn

use an oil absorbing powder

dip a qtip in it
