Pinks, browns, oranges, and golds. Basically everything OPPOSITE of your actual eye color makes the blue (green, etc.) stand out like crazy!





Stay away from blues and purples. Too close to your eye color and it will dull them down.

on my blues eyes i'll wear different shades of browns or topaz color, but almay came out with a set of shadows supposedly made to bring out the blue

The general rule of thumb is to pick eyeshadows that are opposite of your eye color. I tell most of my clients that purples are good colors because they go with all eyes. Use a smokey grey or brown eyeliner for blue eyes and black for brown eyes. Also, when using eyeliner, always put it on the top lid and bottom lid, or just the top. Never do just the bottom.
Brown and eggplant eyeshadows with brown eyeliner for blue eyes - they'll really pop. If a natural blond, you can use light taupe or khaki or soft olive eyeliners so the color isn't too harsh.

Well I'm not sure about blue eyes, but I have brown almost hazel eyes and purple looks good on me! but light shades of purple and neutral pinks also.
