I need help with makeup for myself. I have such trouble finiding stuff. See, my hair is dark...DARK black, like freakishly dark and then my skin is snowy white. And then, my eyes are topaz I can't find anything that looks good on me. Because your hair is so dark go with light and soft colors to bring out your skin. Don't over do it go for a fresh clean look. I wouls say black mascara. Light rosy cheeks, pastel pinks. Same for the lips -just about any soft shade of pink will work as long as it's not frosty maybe a litle closer to carnation color. Make your eyes pop and downplay everything else. Work with the blue in your eyes as opposed to the gold flecks. Try very light shade silver, pearl color, shades of topaz etc for the shadow. The best way to experiment is to go to the make-up counter at the department store and tell them what I just told you. They'll choose colors for you and apply them to see how they work with your skin and hair. You don't have to buy everything or anything. While they're working on you don't just close your eyes. i think for your lips you should use a salmon pink lip gloss and for your eyes you should use a light silver eyeshadow black eyeliner and a black mascara but dont throw it on in a hurry just take 5 minutes

1) first of all i put a little bit of eyeshadow on


2) put liquid eyeliner on all around your eyes


3) then put kajjal on

Stay away from dark or matte eyeshadows, use a light shimmery color instead. Apply eyeliner on the top lid only, if you line the bottom (especially the inside rim) it will just make your eyes look smaller. Make the line gradually thicker as you get outer corners. Apply a shimmery white eye pencil (Benefit makes a great one called Mr. Frosty) to the inner corners of your eyes and a little to the outer corners, it will make your eyes sparkle. Use it to also to line the bottom inside rim of your eye. Curl your eyelashes and apply mascara, preferably a lenthening and thickening. And your done!! : )

make sure they don't get all clumpy though.


i put on like 30 coats


then use a eyelash comb to separate the clumps.


then just a little on the bottom lashes.

eh, you can use black eyeliner.. that kind of makes them look smaller though.


i look bad without it though, so i just put it on my water line in the OUTER corners only.


i stay away from the inner corners, but sometimes i apply some white or beige-ish eyeliner in there.

Eyeliner makes your eyes look smaller and sharper, not bigger.


Get a really good mascara (Zoomlash by: MAC works amazing).


It opens up your eyes.


Also, you can use a light metallic eyeshadow and swipe it around the outer bounderies of your eyes. It will open them up also.

put eyeliner on your top lid, %26amp; kind of make it have a wing at the corner, sort of like a cat eye. %26amp; when you put it on your bottom lid, only make it go over your water line HALFway, the other half, put it just below your bottom lid a little.
It's pretty simple





-A simple color on your eyelid like a peach.


-white eyeliner on bottom and water line and smudge it.


-Then put a very thin layer of black eyeliner over it.


-Put a lighter color over the peach.





It worked for me and I hope it works for you!!!
Curling your eyelashes and applying mascara will definitely make the eyes pop. White eyeliner on bottom, no heavy eyeliner on top, that will make your eyes appear droopy. If you should choose to use eyeshadow, go easy on that as well.
white eyeliner makes your eyes appear bigger and more open.
use eyeliner on the top of your lid and on the bottom rim and use really good mascara on the top and bottum lashes. and an eyelash curler.

I'm the same hair and skin tone as you. I go for a more natural look, mostly just a light dusting of mineral powder, brownish-black mascara and a mauvey-rose lipstick.





But on days when I want to do it up even more, I'll use a concealer under my eyes, a light foundation mixed with moisturizer on my face, the mineral powder over that, an eyelash curler, brown or navy eyeliner and complementary shadow, mascara, and a matching lip liner and lipstick in a darker more wine-colored shade. I rarely ever use blush, but when I do it's very subtle. For the fair skinned, I think less is more.





Just remember, if you really do up your eyes, downplay your lips. And vice versa. You don't ever want to be overdone.
Hi, you sound just like me, actually your avatar is identical to mine, I use a bronze on my eyes everyday, don't go without it. It seems to bring my eyes out, I use brown cover girl eyeliner and cover girl brown mascara, lightly. I am a natural dirty blonde so I lighten my hair with Dream Blonde by Loreal, Light Blonde, #9. I like this the best, keeps brassiness away. Good luck, I hope this helps.

browns, beige and neutral tans. Grays and charcoals look good with this eye color, as do violet and lavender. You can mix it up with a lavendar and a violet.





Khaki and olive green are a great color combination. Browns with green highlights or copper highlights are always a fun option. Try copper and even gold. If your eyes have a tinge of green, or like mine are half green, choose green eyeshadows as well.





You'll find that even though you've heard that you should never wear an eyeshadow the same color as your eyes, that brown shadow can look very good with brown eyes and green shadow can look very good with green eyes. Sometimes it's a matter of finding the ';right'; shade. Brown eyeshadows are all pretty safe, so you don't have to worry too much about those. Colors like purple, green and blue require a bit more testing.





Black is out, so don't use it as an eyeshadow.

Colors To Avoid





Like I said, I hate to rule anything out, but makeup tips for brown eyes should include that certain pink and mauve eyeshadows can cause you to look swollen or puffy around your eyes. It isn't true for all women or for all pinks, either. But if you're certain you don't want to risk it, avoid pinks. Mauves also fall into this category. It may be because women with brown eyes tend to have more yellow skintones making them warm complexioned and pinks and mauves are definitely cool colors. The blue in the pinks can react with the yellow of the skin producing an unattractive feature.





And while it isn't specifically makeup tips for brown eyes, you may want to avoid blue eyeshadow too. There's the misconception that blue eyeshadow is ';out';, but like I said, it really depends on who's wearing it. Playing it safe would include skipping this color.





Silvers are not a good color for brown eyes. They tend to cause a ';washed out'; look. Leave silver for blue eyes.





Eyeliner Colors





And now for the eyeliner colors. Brown eyes always should include dark brown and black eyeliner. These are very good choices for this eye color. Don't line your black liner too thick, though. That's pass茅. Racoon eyes are a big no-no.





If you're trying to open small eyes, line with silver or white, especially the first third from the inside corner of your eyelid. Then finish with a dark brown.





Navy, forest green, violet and copper are also great eyeliner choices. Play around with the different colors and pick the ones you like best.Brown eyes and makeup?
I think green eyeshadow would look good on you. Not a very light or bright green though. Also, maybe a lilac or cream shade? You could go with a /dark/ brown eyeliner and black mascara. Or if you want a more dramatic look, use black eyeliner. I dont suggest using liquid eyeliner on the bottom, it can have bad results.


What I think would look good is black eyeliner on the top with a light line of dark brown pencil eyeliner on the botom with your eyeshadow color of choice.

I have blue eyes and medium brown hair too. I'll tell you how I do my face and everyone tells me that it makes my blue eyes really stand out. Plus it's very natural looking.





Use a light brown eyeshadow as eyeliner under your eyes. Blend it in. It doesn't look like you put anything on your eyes. But it does wonders. Then use a whitish color on the inside of your eyes. On the lids, use a natural color and on the outsides use a darkish brown and blend it well. It should look very natural and gorgeous.
I know what you mean. The whole black eyeliner and mascara can be cute, but it can tend to make you look harsh. Soft subtle colors on the eyes make you look softer and more natural. Try using earth tones such as browns and light green. You can still apply eyeliner but just draw a thin light line stay away from the thick heavy line.

ok i use almay brown liquid eyeliner. do not apply to the lid, upply to the lash line. on the bottom use dark brown eye PENCIL. AFTER that you can esely find a bright goldish orange eye shadow apply it to the lid and use shiny dark brown in the crease w/ your skin color on the brow bone. then use brownish black mascara. YOULL LOOK GREAT!! TRUST ME!!!!
Use medium tone browns around your eyes (shadows, liners, mascara). Try to find a blush that is the same color as the inside of your lower lip and apply lightly. Finally, find a tinted lip gloss that adds some shine but doesn't look gloopy.

Natural is the best in my opinion. You have very pretty skin from the picture. Nothing to heavy. Maybe some mascara to make you eyes pop a little, a little blush to give you that glow. OMg I have the perfect idea! Well, sweep a light shimmery bronzer over you cheekbones and browbones because that is where the sun hits the most. Also, use a shimmery gold eyeshadow to really make your eyes pop. OH, before the bronzer apply a blush to the apples of your cheeks to really raise your cheekbones. Lastly, top it off with loreal naturle mascara and a light lip balm. good luck :)

I look kina like u (my pic looks nothin like me n im a girl) and what i do is i put on thin black eyeliner (bottom and top) and i blend it with a little dark eyeshadow fading to white or your skin tone. maybe a little gloss if it feels necessary.
