I have found that using a power foundation and sparkly/shimmery white just below your eyebrows and either a colour matching what you are wearing or a light tan as eye make up is sooo beautiful with a light layer of BROWN mascara. Especially if you top it off with with a pale or clear shiny lip gloss. You can use a light pink or peachy blush brushed over the apples of your cheeks, forehead, tip of your nose and chin as well if you like to.What is the best makeup for someone with red hair, fair skin, freckles and green eyes?
eyeshadow: light pink, a peach color with a hint of pink, and gold.

eyeliner: black

mascara: black

blush: light pink

lip gloss: light pink

Pretty much go with peach colors and pinkWhat is the best makeup for someone with red hair, fair skin, freckles and green eyes?
I would use a brown eyeliner, a light shimmery ivory eyeshadow under browbone and inner lid towards your nose, a light brown eyeshadow in your eyelid crease and above dark green accent eyeshadow as an accent along your lashline and lid with a lash lengthening black/brown mascara. A warm color blush (brownish-not pink) and a light neutral lipstick topped with a gloss. A tinted moisturizer for foundation is great coming into spring/summer.
Black eyeliner + mascara. Sheer gloss.
There's a great book called ';Color Me Beautiful'; which divides people into seasons according to what their complexion, hair and eye color. It's suggested that redheads with green eyes look best in peachy coloured make up with soft fawn or soft khaki green eye makeup. Peach or peachy-beige/peachy pink lipstick is good to. And check out the site on makeup just for those of us who have red hair. it's listed below. also the Clairol and Covergirl sites will tell y ou what looks best with your coloring.
Redheads look best in an array of browns and blue and green look amazing on eyes when applied lightly....as for lipgloss use clear or one with a gold tint to it...pink also looks very good.

Most natural redheads have a red tint to their skin....I would suggest a green concealer and then to layer your foundation on. I mean, I love to look pretty some time, but my eyes are so sensitive. The only product that I can wear that can last me a while before my eyes get irritated, is covergirl. Maybe because I've worn covergirl products for so long? But I've worn like different products WITH covergirl. So I don't know what to do... I only wear makeup when ever I feel like it or whenever there's a big thing going on... otherwise I rarely wear it. What am I supposed to do?! I can't even wear foundation either! Or even use anything.. My face is so SENSITIVE.

P.S. I'm a brunette with big brown eyes and very fair skin.?i wouldnt say anything too dark or too light. shoot for some medium shades. i wouldnt use shades of brown for eyeshadow if i were you, because it tends to make people look like their lids are dispigmentated. (Wrong word, but do you know what i mean?) Anyways, purple looks GREAT on brown eyes. Since you have brown eyes, you can really play them up with out looking like a clown. so dont be afraid to think out of the box. What shades of makeup can i wear? I'm a brunette with big brown eyes and very fair skin.?
I say blue for sure. NOT BRIGHT BLUE. Go to the Clinique counter at the mall. They could give you some really good ideas! What shades of makeup can i wear? I'm a brunette with big brown eyes and very fair skin.?
Wear very natural colors that makes it seem like you have no makeup on at all. Like browns, tans, golds, stuff like that, like halle berry she wears very natural makeup. No blue and greens and purples, that looks terrible
Nice combination, same as mine! I'm told I can wear cool and warm colors. And there are quite alot of shades that look good on me and I have gotten complimented on. In shadows, I can do some light- medium blues; gray-blues; I actually love golds; olive-like green shades- there was one fat eye stick, not a powder, I liked alot by maybelline, color was called Cold Cash, an olive almost gold color, got compliments on that; and purple shades although I'm not too into purples.

For blush I found I liked peachy ones the best, though plums are good too. Lips there's alot of choices, light pink lipgloss, sheer red lipgloss, brownish with hints of pink or purple work. If you want to go dark or intense, a deep wine/plum type of red is best, one shade I had by Loreal Colour Riche was called Port. But never go too intense on both the eyes and lips at the same time, emphasize only one or the other at a time. Well I hope this gives you some ideas....
You are probably a warm and would look good in deep blues and darker warmer shades.I have the same skin shade and am also brunette and usually do black liner and dark browns with deep purples, blues for eyes and deep reds and burgandy for lip shades.
to bring out the browns in your eyes, uses subtle blue and purple shades.

If your eyes are more toward the hazel side, use lots of greens and golds to play up the natural tones.rhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10863204495763924150noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5606489834438971983.post-12032287341381603472010-06-24T19:49:00.003-07:002010-06-24T19:49:53.398-07:00Suggestions? I read that's what really brings out green eyes. I also like my basic browns. ANY color will bring out your eyes as long as you learn how to apply it. Always use an eyelash curler and two or three coats of mascara. I have eyelash extensions so I luckily don't have to mess with that any more. Whatever you do stay away from green eyeshadow. It's too much. If you have to use it use it over top of the purple on the outer corners. I have such trouble finiding stuff. See, my hair is dark...DARK black, like freakishly dark and then my skin is snowy white. And then, my eyes are topaz I can't find anything that looks good on me. I sort of want the gold in my eyes to really stand out and my lips to have a snow white effect and really stand out. ideas?Makeup ideas for black hair, snow white skin, topaz eyes.?
Because your hair is so dark go with light and soft colors to bring out your skin. Don't over do it go for a fresh clean look. I wouls say black mascara. Light rosy cheeks, pastel pinks. Same for the lips -just about any soft shade of pink will work as long as it's not frosty maybe a litle closer to carnation color. Make your eyes pop and downplay everything else. Work with the blue in your eyes as opposed to the gold flecks. Try very light shade silver, pearl color, shades of topaz etc for the shadow. The best way to experiment is to go to the make-up counter at the department store and tell them what I just told you. They'll choose colors for you and apply them to see how they work with your skin and hair. You don't have to buy everything or anything. While they're working on you don't just close your eyes. Pay attention to how they apply the makeup and the kinds of colors they choose for your palette.Makeup ideas for black hair, snow white skin, topaz eyes.?
i think for your lips you should use a salmon pink lip gloss and for your eyes you should use a light silver eyeshadow black eyeliner and a black mascara but dont throw it on in a hurry just take 5 minutesrhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10863204495763924150noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5606489834438971983.post-77124737590773201702010-06-24T19:48:00.001-07:002010-06-24T19:48:17.338-07:00Using makeup, how can you make your eyes look bigger? My eyes are real big, but they aren't small, does anyone know how to make my eyes look bigger? haha thanks(:Using makeup, how can you make your eyes look bigger?
my eyes are small so to make them big i -

1) first of all i put a little bit of eyeshadow on

2) put liquid eyeliner on all around your eyes

3) then put kajjal on

4) last of all put lots of mascara onUsing makeup, how can you make your eyes look bigger?
Stay away from dark or matte eyeshadows, use a light shimmery color instead. Apply a shimmery white eye pencil (Benefit makes a great one called Mr. Frosty) to the inner corners of your eyes and a little to the outer corners, it will make your eyes sparkle. In terms of hair color, you could go lighter and get a warm blonde, or go darker with a chestnut brown.Blue eyes, blonde hair, fair skin. makeup %26amp; hair tips?
I'm the same hair and skin tone as you. I go for a more natural look, mostly just a light dusting of mineral powder, brownish-black mascara and a mauvey-rose lipstick.

But on days when I want to do it up even more, I'll use a concealer under my eyes, a light foundation mixed with moisturizer on my face, the mineral powder over that, an eyelash curler, brown or navy eyeliner and complementary shadow, mascara, and a matching lip liner and lipstick in a darker more wine-colored shade. I rarely ever use blush, but when I do it's very subtle. For the fair skinned, I think less is more.

Just remember, if you really do up your eyes, downplay your lips. And vice versa. You don't ever want to be overdone.
Hi, you sound just like me, actually your avatar is identical to mine, I use a bronze on my eyes everyday, don't go without it. It seems to bring my eyes out, I use brown cover girl eyeliner and cover girl brown mascara, lightly. I am a natural dirty blonde so I lighten my hair with Dream Blonde by Loreal, Light Blonde, #9. Grays and charcoals look good with this eye color, as do violet and lavender. You can mix it up with a lavendar and a violet.

Khaki and olive green are a great color combination. Browns with green highlights or copper highlights are always a fun option. Try copper and even gold. If your eyes have a tinge of green, or like mine are half green, choose green eyeshadows as well.

You'll find that even though you've heard that you should never wear an eyeshadow the same color as your eyes, that brown shadow can look very good with brown eyes and green shadow can look very good with green eyes. Sometimes it's a matter of finding the ';right'; shade. Brown eyeshadows are all pretty safe, so you don't have to worry too much about those. Colors like purple, green and blue require a bit more testing.

Black is out, so don't use it as an eyeshadow.

Keep trying until you find a color you like. You'll know when it's right- trust your instincts.

Colors To Avoid

Like I said, I hate to rule anything out, but makeup tips for brown eyes should include that certain pink and mauve eyeshadows can cause you to look swollen or puffy around your eyes. It isn't true for all women or for all pinks, either. But if you're certain you don't want to risk it, avoid pinks. Mauves also fall into this category. It may be because women with brown eyes tend to have more yellow skintones making them warm complexioned and pinks and mauves are definitely cool colors. The blue in the pinks can react with the yellow of the skin producing an unattractive feature.

And while it isn't specifically makeup tips for brown eyes, you may want to avoid blue eyeshadow too. There's the misconception that blue eyeshadow is ';out';, but like I said, it really depends on who's wearing it. Playing it safe would include skipping this color.

Silvers are not a good color for brown eyes. They tend to cause a ';washed out'; look. Leave silver for blue eyes.

Eyeliner Colors

And now for the eyeliner colors. Brown eyes always should include dark brown and black eyeliner. These are very good choices for this eye color. Don't line your black liner too thick, though. That's pass茅. Racoon eyes are a big no-no.

If you're trying to open small eyes, line with silver or white, especially the first third from the inside corner of your eyelid. Then finish with a dark brown.

Navy, forest green, violet and copper are also great eyeliner choices. Play around with the different colors and pick the ones you like best.Brown eyes and makeup?
I think green eyeshadow would look good on you. Not a very light or bright green though. Also, maybe a lilac or cream shade? You could go with a /dark/ brown eyeliner and black mascara. Or if you want a more dramatic look, use black eyeliner. I dont suggest using liquid eyeliner on the bottom, it can have bad results.

What I think would look good is black eyeliner on the top with a light line of dark brown pencil eyeliner on the botom with your eyeshadow color of choice.

And here I planned a nice simple answer.

Sorry.
Purples are great, golds would bring out the yellower tones in your eyes, and actually blues. Blues are really nice on brown eyes.
purples look really good with brown eyes.

almay has a line of eye products just for brown eyes
i have dark brown eyes and i LOVE purple/violet mascara

it really does bring out brown eyes :)
purple looks great with brown eyes. i use purple eyeliner on the top lash line and black mascara. since your pale try some light barbie pink blush :-)
rhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10863204495763924150noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5606489834438971983.post-57096542591079442902010-06-24T19:47:00.001-07:002010-06-24T19:47:32.819-07:00What's the best makeup for blue eyes?I have light skin.

Blue-grey eyes.

Meduim brown hair.

I'm tired of black eyeliner and mascara. i want more of the natural look.

Here's a couple pictures of what I mean by natural.

http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff202/shortbrunette12/nn.jpg

http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff202/shortbrunette12/nnn.jpgWhat's the best makeup for blue eyes?
white eyeliner on the bottom, it will make your eyes look gorgeous!

and a thin line of liquid liner on the top. and mascara. But it does wonders. Then use a whitish color on the inside of your eyes. On the lids, use a natural color and on the outsides use a darkish brown and blend it well. It should look very natural and gorgeous.
I know what you mean. The whole black eyeliner and mascara can be cute, but it can tend to make you look harsh. Soft subtle colors on the eyes make you look softer and more natural. Try using earth tones such as browns and light green. You have very pretty skin from the picture. Nothing to heavy. Maybe some mascara to make you eyes pop a little, a little blush to give you that glow. Chapstick that has a shimmer in it. Too much makeup is unnatural and bad for the skin. What's a good makeup rutine for a girl with pale skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes?
OMg I have the perfect idea! Well, sweep a light shimmery bronzer over you cheekbones and browbones because that is where the sun hits the most. Also, use a shimmery gold eyeshadow to really make your eyes pop. OH, before the bronzer apply a blush to the apples of your cheeks to really raise your cheekbones. Lastly, top it off with loreal naturle mascara and a light lip balm. good luck :)
if you want kind of a natural look that will make your blue eyes stand out, you could try this .. i do it a lot :)

http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=V5NYXwCKuX鈥?/a>

alsooo .. purple colors usually look really good with blue eyes :)

you could do a purple and black smokey look or something like that :)
I look kina like u (my pic looks nothin like me n im a girl) and what i do is i put on thin black eyeliner (bottom and top) and i blend it with a little dark eyeshadow fading to white or your skin tone. maybe a little gloss if it feels necessary.
im 14 too and my makeup kinda looks like yours..

i want to change it too.. try looking up websites

that show you how to do diffent kindas of makeup =]
eyeliner.. foundation... blush....mascara.... and dark eye shadow
backgrounds for myspace
rhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10863204495763924150noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5606489834438971983.post-5630070684637043972010-06-24T19:46:00.003-07:002010-06-24T19:46:57.458-07:00What kind of makeup best features girls with brown hair and blue eyes? There are many different colors and techniques you could use to best bring out you features you described.

For one, you could do smokey eyes, which look good on everyone. (pic included)?
ur cute...n e ways, i have larger round eyes as well though very little lid space unlike u. u can wear bright colors, you just have to counter it with a darker natural color as your crease/outer eye...like if u want soft matte aqua blue, my favorite combo is with a cool shimmery brown and a matte highlight. to make the eye seem smaller and more almond, go for water-lining the eye, ul find it defines ur eye shape and makes it appear a bit narrower. water-lining really balances a round eye when u want to have wilder eye shadows. as for what to use, a blush is great, find one that isn't too light...like a dark rosy color or coral...u can do both depending on what kinda cheeks u want ya know...fun and spunky stand out cheeks go for coral. for a natural look go for rosy colors. also i forgot, covering dark circles with foundation or concealer help when u want to make fun creative eyes. as for lip colors, if u want fun lips, try bright coral lips or wine red lips when u don't wanna mess with ur eye makeup too much and u wanna look awesome, for a natural, go for a gold shimmer in a lip color close to urs. most of maybellines colors are wearable except royal red and half the browns that r really dark and deep in color...coral lipgloss would be great for a slight pop to the lips...like girly pink.Help with makeup for eyes and lips! Do this where your lashes begin to where the end for both colors. If you use 2 mirrors, you can see how it will look to other people from all angles! (2 eyeliners, blue(shadow as liner) above %26amp; black below huging your lashes) It does not matter what shadow you use on your lid above the blue, but.. it shouldn't be something much other than a flesh, bronze, grey and then keep almost white, light gold or very light color that won't clash above the lid color(under your eyebrow) and also you might want to put that light color on each corner end of lid %26amp; the other end of lid by your nose -do you follow this? Be careful of certain shades e.g. green (although it's great with blue eyes, it can also make you look trashy), purple, blue, yellow etc. I have also worn a very light peach (which is my favourite during summer) 'cause it looks so chic and happy. Blue eyes are pretty easy but, seriously, brown's key.

Always remember: less is more. Normally I would have no problem choosing an outfit and makeup but I kinda wanted to try something new...smokey eyes. I haven't seen him in 6 months so I really want to make an impression, but I don't wanna look like I'm trying to hard. I'm perfecting my technique so I don't end up looking like I have a shiner, but since I don't usually wear gobs of makeup just eyeliner, shadow, blush, lip gloss and foundation when I go out should I try the smokey eyes or not? We're going to a rock concert so I wouldn't feel that out of place with dramatic eyes, but I'm sorta questioning whether or not I should go for it.Date makeup...smokey eyes or not?
dont over do your makeup. research and surveys prove that guys find it more attractive when a girl looks natural :)

if your going for the smokey eyes effect then spray your eye make up with hairspray slightly, from a good distance as this will help to keep it on

keep in mind that you mayyy sweat depending on the intensity of the concert and this can ruin make up.

heres a good video for smokey eyes :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xkl3YiswJrEDate makeup...smokey eyes or not?
I've always thought smokey-eyes looks gorgeous on blue eyes!! You can do that, just keep the rest of your makeup simple. Guys don't like it when a girl looks like she is wearing too much. For example, you can do the dramatic eye makeup but then don't put on like, red lipstick. Just keep the rest of your face simple so your eyes stand out. It'll look pretty on you I bet

lol. OK. I'm @ school so i'm not even supposed to be on Y!A.
yeah go for it! if you were going anywhere else other than a rock concert i would say it's too much but that's perfect for a concert. If you feel like it's too much you can always do a smokey eyes with lighter colors i sometimes do that with like browns or purple and it looks really nice but you don't get the black eye look. Have fun!
Yes, you should. But if u don't wanna look like ure trying too hard ( and u don't ) just don't make it TOO MUCH dramatic! You know what i mean, right?? So, don't go overboard with the black, and you'll be ok :)

Oh and i'm holding fingers crossed for ya !
guys dont really like when you wear too much much make up cuz it makes you look like your trying to hard, but you can still put the smokey eyes but not to much
I say go for it as long as you aren't dressed too casually. The smoky eyes fit the rock concert thing so it wont seem like you are trying too hard. Have fun! : )
Go for it! But be careful. Not to much. Sometimes people can over do it and it makes them look like a beaten up heroin addict. Good luck!
GO FOR IT?!!

he hasnt seen you in 6 months.. and your going to a concert..

show him to your wild side (PURRR) but keep it real, and don't 'put out or get out' because thats gay

havee fun!:D
do what you want

if he likes you it shouldn't matter what you have on your face.
Smokey for sure
Do it!
go for it i think he will like it
since its ur first date i would suggest sticking to what u know works for you and what ur already comfortable with
For suree.
nah.
smokey u know
With the smokey eye look you need to be careful. It kind of depends on the size of your eyes and also your complexion. If you have large eyes, you can probably pull off the more dramatic smokey look, but if your eyes are smaller try not to use too much makeup or else it will make your eyes appear even smaller. If you are more fair complected use lighter/softer colors such as light blues, grays, and soft pinks. You can still do the smokey eye effect, but these colors will compliment the shade of your skin and the color of your eyes. You can also try to use different color shades depending on your outfit. I like to use a lime green and a dusty blue when I do the smokey eye look (I have olive skin and medium-large eyes). Don't go way overboard, but you should be pretty safe. The smokey eye look is very attractive, because it draws attention to your eyes and also allows your eyes to some what ';pop'; or stand out. You'll be fine, just keep practicing and experiment with different shades. Have a friend or sister help you decide which looks best of take pictures of each one and compare them to see which you like better.

Sorry this was a long answer, but yes go with the smokey eye look, and perfect your own style of it. Good luck girl!
Being that it is a rock concert you could pull it off for sure. I wouldn't suggest doing that if you go on a 2nd date to a nice restaurant or anything. If you go to Youtube you can see videos on how to do a smokey eye.

Here are some examples-

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xkl3YiswJ鈥?/a>

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqawCx99m鈥?/a>

http://beauty.about.com/od/allaboutyoure鈥?/a>

If you don't want to be as dramatic with black you can do a different color ';smokey eye'; like purple.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmFEeI1p9鈥?/a>

If you do a dark eyeshadow don't do much more makeup than that. Maybe just some lipgloss and be done with it. I wouldn't load up on the lipstick or blush if your eye makeup is dramatic.rhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10863204495763924150noreply@blogger.com0
